Abstract. The results obtained during thirteen years showed that growth, yielding and fruit mass depended on cultivar. ‘Elstar’, ‘Red Elstar’ and ‘Elshof cultivars characterized significantly bigger trunk cross-section area than the other ones. The biggest yield from tree and 1 ha of orchard characterized cultivars ‘Fiesta’ and ‘Gloster’, the smallest cultivars ‘Jonica’ and ‘Jonagored’. The smallest fruits were harvested from trees of cultivars ‘Arlet’, ‘Gala Must’, ‘Elstar’ and their mutations.

Summary

Significantly growth characterized trees of cultivar ‘Elstar’ and their mutations. During thirteen years of fruitting were harvested 237-444 t of fruits from 1 ha of orchard. The size of yielding depended on the cultivar.

The smallest fruits (135-144 g) were harvested from trees of cultivars ‘Elstar’ groups, ‘Gala Must’ and ‘Arlet’. Differences between ‘Elstar’ groups and cultivars ‘Wilmuta’ and ‘Jonagold’ were significant.
